Matteo is a Kinbaku Shibari rigger, teacher, performer, and co-founder of In.Ropes community in Bali. With a profound dedication to his craft, he has honed his skills through immersive training in Japan, under the guidance of esteemed Shibari masters. His journey and experiences in the birthplace of Shibari have deeply influenced his approach to the art form.
Combining his background as a creative director and photographer with his personal practice of kundalini yoga, Matteo brings a unique perspective to his rope work. He finds inspiration in the aesthetic beauty of the human body when entwined in ropes, but more significantly, in the emotional and energetic experience it evokes.
